My name is Mallory. I have freckles, can almost speak Spanish, am a self-admitted green tea addict and I take pictures. When you meet us, you'll meet my hubby, Brian, too.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember--I started drawing (and eating crayons) long before I started kindergarten. Brian is a self-taught musician and can really slap a bass (in addition to all the other instruments he can just pick up and play). We met at nerd camp seven years before we married and Brian knew then that I was his gal. It took me the full seven years to finally agree. It was the best decision I ever made. = )

Our clients tend to be wonderful (yes, you are wonderful you who are reading this), kind-hearted, laid back, intelligent people. We consider ourselves very blessed! Together, as a photography team, we just work. Something comes alive when we photograph people--maybe it's our inherent creativity, maybe it's because we like to laugh, maybe it's our laid back personalities, maybe it's because we hate silent and boring photoshoots, or maybe it's our general nerdiness... Regardless, we like it. Take a look around-you'll see that the word that characterizes our photography most is the word "joy". I still love to take those dramatic, romantic shots (for serious!) but it is those moments when I can catch two lovebirds giggling together or the little girl twirling with her baby doll and smiling that really get me going in the morning. If I can facilitate images like that and at the end of the day you see the beauty in yourself you would never admit was there before--our job has been accomplished.
